Why proctored exams still matter in the age of AI

Open-book certifications are a credibility crisis. Here's why TENZTRO chose lockdown exams.

Every recruiter we spoke to said the same thing: 'I don't trust online certificates anymore.'

The problem

Most online courses issue a certificate for watching every video. Some require a quiz — but the quiz is open-book, untimed, and easily Googled (or asked of ChatGPT).

Our approach

TENZTRO certificates require passing a proctored, full-screen, time-limited exam with randomised questions. We log tab switches, paste events, and full-screen exits. Anyone who passes has actually learned the material.

What this unlocks

A TENZTRO certificate carries weight in an interview because the recruiter knows it was earned, not collected.
