This Privacy Policy explains how TENZTRO Private Limited ("TENZTRO", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the TENZTRO Learning platform (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email address, and profile picture obtained from Google when you sign in.
- Learning data — courses enrolled, lessons completed, quiz attempts, exam attempts, certificates earned, points, badges, streaks, and chat interactions with our AI tutor.
- Payment data — processed by Stripe. We store the transaction reference, plan, and status, but never your full card details.
- Device & usage data — IP address, browser, operating system, pages viewed, and approximate location, used for security and analytics.
- Proctoring signals — during lockdown exams we record full-screen exits, tab switches, and other integrity events.
2. How we use your data
- Operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Track progress, issue certificates, and surface personalised recommendations.
- Process payments and provide receipts.
- Send transactional emails (enrolment confirmations, certificate issued, password/security notices).
- Detect fraud, cheating, and abuse.
3. Video content protection
Course videos are hosted as unlisted YouTube embeds and rendered inside a protected player that overlays a dynamic watermark with your email and a unique session identifier. The watermark is a best-effort deterrent against unauthorised screen recording and redistribution.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and a small set of analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. See our Cookie Policy for details.
5. Sharing
We share data only with processors needed to run the Service:
- Google (authentication).
- Stripe (payments).
- Our cloud infrastructure provider (hosting, database, storage).
- AI model providers used by the AI tutor and mock interview features.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Data retention
We retain account and learning records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to support certificate verification and legal compliance.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email support@tenztro.com.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, row-level security in our database, scoped access tokens, and least-privilege service roles. No system is perfectly secure; please report any vulnerability to security@tenztro.com.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service.
